The Ray Price Racing Top Fuel Harley driven by Tommy Grimes took home the Wally at the JEGS Cajun SPORTSNationals this past Saturday. This was the second of 10 races in the 2015 NHRA Harley-Davidson Drag Racing Series.

“It was a challenging track the last few days. The weather conditions continued to change all weekend long, but we finally managed to dial it in,” said team owner, Ray Price. “I’m very proud of Tommy and the entire crew. They kept the bike consistent and took home the win at the end of the day.”

The threat of rain on Sunday prompted NHRA officials to move up eliminations to Saturday. Grimes defeated Rich Vreeland in the 1st round with a 6.338 E.T./221.96 mph over his 8.273 E.T./119.06 mph. In the finals, Grimes faced off against Randall Andras. Grimes took the win light with a 6.444 E.T./225.86 mph over Andras 7.606 E.T./185.33 mph.

Next up for Ray Price Racing and the rest of the Top Fuel Harley Racers Association is the 2015 NHRA Summit Racing Equipment Nationals in Las Vegas on April 10 – 12.
